About the role

The University Hospital of Réunion is seeking a qualified practitioner in Gynecology and Obstetrics to join its level‑3 maternity unit in Saint‑Denis. The position starts as soon as possible and can be a contractual or temporary appointment depending on the candidate’s profile.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive obstetric care for approximately 2,500 births per year, including high‑risk pregnancies and prenatal diagnostics.
• Participate in the intensive pregnancy surveillance unit and manage on‑site emergency calls alongside an intern.
• Perform a wide range of surgical procedures such as robotic surgery, endometriosis removal, oncologic pelvic surgery, and infertility treatments.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across obstetrics, surgery, and neonatal care.

Required profile

• Medical doctor holding a DES in Gynecology‑Obstetrics.
• Registered or eligible for registration with the French Medical Council.
• Willingness to work full‑time under a contractual arrangement.
