About the role

This apprenticeship offers a hands‑on position as a cashier host, combining classroom training with daily work in a retail or hospitality environment. You will be the first point of contact for customers, ensuring a friendly and efficient checkout experience while developing professional skills.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and assist customers at the point of sale.
• Handle all cash register operations, including payments and refunds.
• Verify the cash drawer at the start of each shift and perform end‑of‑day cash counts.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the cash area.
• Apply price tags and ensure accurate pricing.
• Implement loss‑prevention measures to avoid theft.
