Data Scientist – Analytics Specialist

About the role

Reporting to the Head of Development, the Data Scientist will transform company data into actionable insights that drive operational efficiency and strategic decisions. Based in Saint‑Denis, Réunion, you will work across multiple internal platforms to extract value and support business performance.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and organise data from various internal platforms while ensuring accuracy, consistency, and usability.
• Develop reports, KPIs, and dashboards to support business decisions.
• Design and implement predictive models such as demand forecasting and maintenance optimisation.
• Build and maintain decision‑support tools using data‑science and machine‑learning techniques.
• Translate complex datasets into clear, actionable recommendations and support performance monitoring.
• Stay informed about developments in data science and AI, proposing new data‑driven solutions.
• Collaborate with operations, marketing, engineering, and external partners.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in data science, statistics, computer science or a related field.
• Proven experience in data analysis and statistical modelling.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving ability.
• Experience managing projects and handling complex datasets.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non‑technical audiences.
• Collaborative mindset with discretion and attention to detail.
