AI Engineer – Remote Contract (up to $90/hr)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced AI Engineer to design, build, and optimize machine‑learning models for production use. This remote contract position offers flexible hours (10‑40 hrs/week) and competitive compensation based on expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Develop robust ML models and integrate them into production pipelines.
• Automate end‑to‑end ML workflows using CI/CD best practices.
• Leverage AWS services to create scalable AI infrastructure and deploy models.
• Orchestrate containerized workloads with Kubernetes for high availability.
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and researchers to translate business problems into ML solutions.
• Preprocess and frame real‑world data problems for effective modeling.
• Document findings, solution approaches, and technical decisions clearly.

Required profile

• Proven expertise in machine‑learning algorithms, model development, and deployment.
• Strong programming background, preferably in Python or Java, with experience in large‑scale software projects.
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
• In‑depth knowledge of AWS cloud services for ML and data pipelines.
• Advanced understanding of Kubernetes for container orchestration.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
