Software Developer – Remote (up to $80/hr)

About the role

We are seeking a puzzle‑solver software developer to tackle self‑contained coding, logic, debugging, and technical reasoning challenges on a contract basis. The role is fully remote and offers flexible hours between 10 and 40 per week.

Key responsibilities

• Solve coding, logic, and debugging challenges by translating unfamiliar problems into implementable solutions.
• Select appropriate algorithms, data structures, and strategies, and implement efficient solutions in a suitable programming language.
• Identify ambiguous requirements, edge cases, hidden assumptions, and failure conditions, and develop robust tests to verify correctness.
• Review AI‑generated solutions, spot logic errors, and produce clear, reproducible code that can be automatically evaluated.

Required profile

• Strong algorithmic problem‑solving ability and experience debugging unfamiliar code.
• Ability to work independently in terminal‑based development environments and produce reproducible, testable software.
• Clear written and verbal technical communication skills.
