Remote Drupal Web Developer

About the role

We are looking for a talented Drupal Web Developer to join our remote team. You will design, build, and maintain complex web applications on the Drupal platform, collaborating closely with project managers, designers, and fellow developers to deliver secure, high‑performing sites.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and maintain Drupal‑based websites and applications.
• Create custom modules and themes using clean, secure PHP and JavaScript.
• Integrate third‑party services and APIs into Drupal solutions.
• Perform core updates, apply security patches, and ensure module compatibility.
• Test, debug, and optimise sites for speed, responsiveness, and 99% uptime.
• Participate in code reviews, share knowledge, and support teammates.
• Document technical specifications and system architecture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, IT or equivalent hands‑on experience.
• 3‑5 years of proven Drupal development experience (Drupal 9/10 preferred).
• Self‑motivated with strong time‑management and communication skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Required skills

• Drupal (9/10), custom module and theme development.
• PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery.
• Version control with Git, CI/CD pipelines.
• Docker or similar local development environments.
• API integration and headless/decoupled Drupal.
• Automated testing frameworks.
