Business Intelligence Analyst – Advanced Excel (Remote)

About the role

This contract position focuses on delivering business intelligence solutions using advanced Excel capabilities. You will work remotely with the client’s team to transform raw data into actionable insights that support AI model training and business decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Leverage advanced Excel features (Power Query, PivotTables, VBA, data modeling) to structure, analyze, and visualize large datasets.
• Collaborate with the customer’s team to understand business questions and translate them into data‑driven solutions.
• Prepare, clean, and validate data to ensure accuracy for AI training pipelines.
• Develop and document BI workflows, reports, and dashboards with clear written and verbal communication.
• Create detailed Excel‑based visualizations that highlight trends and model performance improvements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business intelligence or analytics, specifically using Excel as the primary tool.
• Exceptional proficiency with advanced Excel functionalities such as Power Query, PivotTables, VBA, and data modeling.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for presenting complex insights to diverse audiences.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deliverables in a remote setting.
• Solid understanding of business processes and translating requirements into technical solutions.
