ML Platform Engineer – Remote

About the role

We are looking for an experienced ML Platform Engineer to develop and validate machine‑learning models, training pipelines, inference systems, and the supporting infrastructure. This is a remote contract role focused on building robust, reproducible workflows and optimizing performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and validate machine‑learning models, training pipelines, inference systems, and supporting infrastructure.
• Implement model components, data pipelines, evaluation systems, and numerical methods.
• Build reproducible programmatic workflows using Python and command‑line tools.
• Optimize training or inference for latency, throughput, memory usage, and hardware utilization.
• Diagnose numerical instability, tensor behavior issues, memory bottlenecks, distributed‑system failures, and performance regressions.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, AI, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.
• Strong professional or research experience in machine learning.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• Experience with at least two ML frameworks, libraries, or inference tools.
