Mathematics Professor – Remote Contract (up to $40/hr)

About the role

We are seeking a Mathematics Professor to work remotely on a contract basis, providing expert analysis and solutions for advanced mathematical challenges. The role involves collaborating with AI research teams to ensure mathematical rigor in model outputs and contributing to the development of high‑quality training data.

Key responsibilities

• Review, evaluate, and generate solutions to advanced mathematical problems.
• Develop detailed explanations, proofs, and technical analyses for mathematical concepts.
• Assess the accuracy and rigor of AI‑generated mathematical outputs and provide constructive feedback.
• Create and annotate domain‑specific datasets for model training and benchmarking.
• Document technical methodologies and communicate complex ideas clearly.

Required profile

• Strong experience in mathematics or applied mathematics.
• Proven track record authoring research papers, mathematical proofs, or technical reports.
• Ability to translate complex mathematical concepts for varied audiences.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with emphasis on clarity.
• Experience reviewing or critiquing mathematical reasoning or computational solutions.
