About the role

This apprenticeship offers a hands‑on position as a cashier host in a retail environment. You will be the first point of contact for customers, ensuring a friendly welcome and smooth transaction process while completing part of your training at the school.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers entering the store.
• Handle all cash register operations, including sales, refunds and payments.
• Verify the cash drawer at the start of each shift and perform end‑of‑day cash counting.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the checkout area.
• Apply pricing labels and support loss‑prevention measures.

Required profile

• Positive attitude with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Dynamic, motivated and reliable.
• Clear and pleasant communication style.
• Attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.

Required skills

• Cash register operation.
• Money handling and cash counting.
• Use of point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
