Financial Analyst (Remote, Contract)

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned Financial Analyst to work remotely on a contract basis. The role involves reviewing financial documentation, evaluating audit processes, and providing actionable insights to improve financial and tax compliance. You will also support AI data projects by assessing data sets and model outputs.

Key responsibilities

• Review, evaluate, and annotate financial reports and statements for accuracy and completeness.
• Assess audit procedures, identify gaps, and recommend best practices.
• Develop and critique financial models to ensure logical structure and actionable insights.
• Analyze tax compliance practices and provide feedback on documentation.
• Examine legal and financial documents for clarity and regulatory alignment.
• Deliver constructive feedback on project materials and support AI training data development.

Required profile

• Strong experience in corporate‑level accounting.
• Proficiency in financial reporting, audit procedures, financial modeling, tax compliance, and legal document review.
• Demonstrated ability to provide actionable feedback and communicate findings clearly.
• Experience with human data projects such as data labeling or model evaluation.
• Excellent analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
