Technicien(ne) en Microbiologie

About the role

QIMA is seeking a Microbiology Technician to join its laboratory team. You will work under the supervision of the service manager, contributing to the company’s mission of delivering trustworthy products across consumer goods, food, and life‑science sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare samples for microbiological analysis.
• Prepare culture media and equipment required for testing.
• Perform microbiological analyses according to established protocols.
• Clean and maintain laboratory equipment after use.
• Apply methods and procedures in line with the laboratory’s quality system (NF EN ISO IEC 17025).

Required profile

• Minimum education level Bac+2 (associate degree) in a relevant scientific field.
• Organized, rigorous, autonomous and able to work effectively in a team.

Required skills

• Microbiological culturing and seeding techniques.
• Identification of Listeria spp., Salmonella spp., Escherichia coli and coagulase‑positive Staphylococci.
• Use of API identification galleries.
• Knowledge of laboratory quality standards NF EN ISO IEC 17025.
