Senior Accountant – Remote

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our remote team on a contract basis. You will work 10‑40 hours per week, providing expert analysis of financial reports, audit procedures, tax compliance, and related documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Review, evaluate, and annotate financial reports and statements for accuracy and completeness.
• Assess and critique audit procedures, identifying gaps and best practices.
• Create and assess financial models for logical structure and actionable insights.
• Analyze tax compliance practices and documentation, offering constructive feedback.
• Review legal and financial documents for clarity and regulatory alignment.
• Deliver clear, constructive feedback on project materials.
• Support the development and evaluation of data sets for AI training.

Required profile

• Strong experience in corporate‑level accounting.
• Proficiency in financial reporting, audit procedures, financial modeling, tax compliance, and legal document review.
• Demonstrated ability to provide actionable feedback and communicate findings effectively.
• Prior participation in human‑data projects such as data labeling or model evaluation.
• Keen analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
