Machine Learning Engineer (Remote, Contract)

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Machine Learning Engineer to join our remote team on a contract basis. You will work on designing, building, and deploying advanced AI models that address complex business problems while collaborating with cross‑functional stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models to solve business challenges.
• Collaborate with product, data, and engineering teams to gather requirements and define data pipelines.
• Implement, optimize, and maintain ETL processes for efficient data ingestion and transformation.
• Write clean, reusable Python code using relevant data‑science libraries.
• Monitor, evaluate, and improve the performance and accuracy of deployed models.
• Document methodologies, processes, and model decisions for transparency and reproducibility.

Required profile

• Expert‑level proficiency in machine learning techniques and algorithms.
• Advanced Python programming skills with experience in NumPy, pandas, and scikit‑learn.
• Hands‑on experience designing and managing ETL workflows in production.
• Strong understanding of data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation metrics.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively in a remote, distributed team environment.
