DevOps Engineer – Remote Contract (up to $60/hr)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive DevOps Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. The role is fully remote and offers flexible weekly hours (10‑40 hrs) with a competitive rate of $20‑$60 per hour. You will be responsible for building and maintaining secure, scalable cloud infrastructure and automating delivery pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage resilient, secure, and scalable infrastructure on AWS, Azure, GCP and Digital Ocean.
• Implement and streamline CI/CD pipelines for rapid, reliable deployments.
• Build and maintain containerized applications with Docker and orchestrate clusters using Kubernetes.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration with Terraform and Ansible.
• Monitor system health and performance using Prometheus, Grafana, and centralized logging solutions.
• Manage access controls and secrets using IAM and dedicated secrets‑management tools.

Required profile

• Strong experience in Linux system administration and fundamental networking concepts.
• Hands‑on experience with major cloud platforms (Digital Ocean, AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proven ability to design, implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience automating infrastructure as code and managing container orchestration.
• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and security best practices in cloud environments.
