AWS Cloud Engineer – Remote

About the role

We are looking for an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer to design, deploy and manage cloud infrastructure for our clients. This remote, contract position offers the flexibility to work 10‑40 hours per week while contributing to critical cloud projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and maintain AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, IAM and VPC.
• Implement identity and access management configurations and network setups.
• Automate provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues with CloudWatch and related tools.
• Develop and maintain operational scripts in Bash and Python to improve efficiency.
• Ensure cloud operations comply with security best practices.

Required profile

• Proven expertise with core AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, CloudWatch).
• Strong background in Linux administration and Bash scripting.
• Experience building automation solutions with Python.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and cloud security.
• Hands‑on experience with Terraform or CloudFormation.
