Data Privacy Analyst – Remote Contract (up to $60/hr)

About the role

We are seeking a remote Data Privacy Analyst to support our data‑protection initiatives on a contract basis. The analyst will work 10‑40 hours per week, performing spot‑checks and reviews of transformed datasets to ensure personal information is properly redacted or anonymized.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct spot‑checks of transformed datasets to verify correct redaction or anonymization of personally identifiable information (PII).
• Perform detailed document reviews to confirm that data‑privacy standards are consistently applied.
• Assess data sets for missed or improperly handled sensitive information and provide clear, actionable feedback.
• Document and report any discrepancies or observations using provided tools and templates.

Required profile

• Strong background in contract review, quality assurance, eDiscovery, and compliance processes.
• In‑depth understanding of PII and relevant data‑privacy regulations.
• Experience as a Paralegal, eDiscovery Specialist, Privacy Analyst, Information Governance Specialist, Compliance Manager, or Legal Document Review Lead.
• Proven track record working with sensitive data in high‑stakes environments.
